Abstract

The report aims to identify and quantify the productivity, constraints and potential health hazards associated with informal peri-urban irrigation, with the objective of identifying practical measures to sustain and enhance the productivity of these systems. The research is based on field studies carried out in and around Kumasi, Ghana, and Nairobi, Kenya.
