Abstract
As offshore mining becomes potentially more feasible for a variety of different minerals, there are increasingly more applications: in less well known environments; without the benefit of decades of monitoring; often with sensitive environmental issues; often without clearly defined path for gaining consent. This poster considers some of the re-occurring themes that have occurred in recent offshore mining applications with regard to the physical processes and their numerical modelling.
