Siltation and stability of cohesive dredged slopes manual

This report has been compiled to give the practising engineer a manual on the engineering aspects of the siltation and stability of cohesive dredged slopes. It summaries the results of recently completed research into deposition of cohesive sediment, the stability of cohesive dredged slopes and the behaviour of estuarine muds during tidal cycles (see Refs 1, 2, 3 and 4). The manual gives an introduction to dredged cohesive slopes and information cover deposition of sediment, slope stability and erosion of sediment. Each section presents the engineering information in terms of knowledge and procedures of the user.
