Developments of time domain models of ships, 1997

This report describes various developments that have been made during spring and summer 1997 of HR Wallingford's computational models for simulating wave forces on and motions of moored ships (UNDERKEEL, DRIFTKEEL and SHIPMOOR). Development have been in three distinct areas. Verification tests, which demonstrate the models' suitability and accuracy simulating moored ship motions in short-crested wave conditions, have been performed and are reported.
