This report has been produced as part of Work Package 1 of the ERA NET CRUE research project entitle FIM FRAME. The following activities were carried out: A comparison of flood emergency planning practices in England and Wales, France and the Netherlands; development of metrics to assess the completeness and the level of details of a flood emergency plan; review of flood emergency plans; internet survey of stakeholders.
It was concluded that there is often a lack of homogeneity between the emergency plans that have been reviewed.
